How To Make Homemade Nacho Cheese Sauce

Prep Time: 10-15 minutes, Serves: 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp plain flour
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 & 1/2 Cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 Tsp salt
  • 1/2 Tsp chilli powder (optional)
  • A few jalapenos (Optional)

METHOD:

  1. In a medium sized saucepan add your butter on a medium heat.
  2. Once your butter is melted slowly add your flour and whisk it together until they both become bubbly and foamy.
  3. Whisk in your milk slowly and allow the milk to to come to a simmer while still whisking.
  4. Once it is thick enough to coat a spoon turn your heat off.
  5. Stir in your shredded cheddar cheese and chilli powder, jalapenos and salt.
  6. You can now enjoy your own homemade nacho cheese dip.
