How To Make Delicious Chocolate Brownies!

Makes: 18 Brownies Squares. Prep time: 20 Minutes. Cooking time: 45 Minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 220g butter
  • 160 grams best dark chocolate
  • 90g plain flour
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 400g Caster Sugar
  • Chocolate syrup (optional)

METHOD

  • Heat the oven to 190C/160Fan.
  • Line your baking tray(8x12in) with baking paper.
  • Melt the butter & the sugar together in a large pan. Once its melted take off the heat. Add the chocolate into the pan & stir until melted.
  • In a bowl break the eggs & sugar whisk together until it is thick & creamy.
  • Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the eggy mixture and gently fold in until the two mixtures are one colour (brown).
  • Use a sieve & a resift the flour & cocoa powder into the eggy chocolate mixture.
  • Gently fold in the powder till it looks fudgy(do not over do it).
  • Pour the mixture into the baking tin leveling it.
  • Put in oven for 35-45 minutes until the top of brownie is firm but inside still feels soft.
  • Take out of the oven and leave to cool in the tin. Cut into squares.

Add your chocolate syrup and enjoy your brownies!!
