Prep Time: 15 Minutes- Cook Time: 20-25 Minutes- Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup plain flour
- 2 Heaped Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 Tsp salt
- 1 Tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 60 Grams sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 4 Oz milk
- Handful chocolate chips dark/light/white(optional)
- Chocolate sauce(optional)
- Strawberries(optional)
Method:
- In a large mixing bowl sieve the flour, cocoa powder, salt, bicarbonate of soda and sugar whisk together until well combined.
- Add into the mixing bowl 2 eggs, milk and margarine whisk together until it looks like a cake batter mix. If to thick add a bit more milk until runny.
- Preheat your oven to 160 degrees.
- To your cake batter mix add your chocolate chips and mix together.
- Lightly grease some butter or oil into your lining of your baking tin.
- Put your cake mix batter into the tin spread out evenly.
- Put your baking tin into the oven on the middle shelf for 20-25 minutes.
- To check if it’s cooked all the way through put a toothpick into the middle if its done it will come out dry with no cake residue on.
- Once cooked add your chocolate sauce and strawberries on top.
- Now you can enjoy your delicious cake.
