EGG AND SPOON RACE

Make some hard boiled eggs and either get some wooden or metal spoons and get the family to get together in the garden and have a good old fashion egg and spoon race whoever gets over the line first wins!

PIN THE TAIL ON THE BUNNY

Normally the game is pin the tail on the donkey, with Easter right around the corner why not do pin the tail on the bunny? You can print a big picture of a bunny, or you can draw one yourself on some cardboard, make your own tail for the bunny and have a great time with the family. Don’t forget the blindfold so they don’t know what they are doing and spin them three times to confuse them.

GLOW IN THE DARK EASTER EGGS

Instead of the normal scavenger hunt in the day time, why not switch it up with a glow in the dark scavenger hunt? You can buy some glow in the dark eggs online and once they arrive put some sweet treats inside the eggs and place them all around the house and in the garden. Let it go dark a bit and watch the kids have some fun and laughter trying to find them all.

DECORATE AN EASTER EGG TREE

Traditionally its decorating a Christmas tree well why not decorate a Easter egg tree? It has been a long tradition for some families around the world for many years. You can buy plenty of Easter tree decorations online along with an Easter tree. It will bring some joy and fun for you and your family.

EASTER BINGO

This is a great game for all the family to join in and have some fun, there is plenty of Easter bingo cards online you can print and use or if you want to make it more fun create some yourself. You can use some small chocolate eggs or jelly beans to cover up there numbers.

MAKE CHOCOLATE FONDUE

Have some fun with the kids and get them all together in the kitchen and get them to melt down some of the Easter eggs they have received for Easter into the machine. Chop up some fruit or have some marshmallows to dip into the chocolate.

RABBIT EARS RING TOSS

Buy some inflatable rabbit ears and some inflatable rings and you can have some laughter with the rabbit ear ring toss. To make the game more fun you can buy some wearable inflatable rabbit ears and you can team up the family in pairs and see who can get the most rings on their partner in the fastest time.

PLANT SOME FLOWERS

Easter symbolizes rebirth, so why not have a calm Easter by planting some plants or flowers outside during the lovely spring time? You can plant some daffodils, tulips, lilies and hydrangeas.

RABBIT EGG BOWLING

Have some fun with Easter egg bowling, you can buy some plastic inflatable bunnies online and set them up as you would as bowling pins. You can either buy some wooden egg balls or inflatable egg balls decorated with Easter bunnies and have some fun bowling.

WATER BALLOON “EGG” TOSS

Go outside in the garden with your friends and family and split the groups into two. Have each pair toss the water balloons (eggs) back and forth, when someone pops the balloon (egg) their team is out!

CREATE A GIFT BASKET

You can teach your kids to perform a random act of kindness during Easter by getting them to create a gift basket for a relative or for a family friend or one of their own friends. You can make it extra special by putting some special notes in some plastic eggs with little treats inside the gift baskets for their grandparents or siblings.

CONFETTI EGGS

Using real eggs make a small hole in the pointy side of the egg and empty the egg out of the shell, now you can dye you egg shell into some food colouring off your choice. Once you have finished dyeing your eggs allow them to dry. Once they are dried you can fill the the egg shell with confetti, cover your egg shell with the same colour of the egg with tissue paper and let it dry so the hole is covered. Watch your family members crack the eggs thinking they are real eggs and instead of being splattered with egg they get covered with confetti instead.

MAKE A FAMILY BRUNCH

Get your family to create a fun brunch together, you can make traditional Easter treats or whatever you have all decided to make on the day. Make sure to have fun and get everyone involved.

BUNNY HOP SACK RACE

If you have got burlap sacks these would be great if not you can get some black bags and decorate them Easter themed. Get everyone to to hop in there sacks or bags and race to the finish line!
